50 Unique Insights about Tanach (bible)
This is a summary of my own insights from reading the Tanach (bible) for 3.5 years.
I read this as part of the 929 initiative. The Tanach has 929 chapters and as part of this project a chapter is read Sunday-Thursday every single day, no matter if it is a regular day or holiday.
I started this project as a new mom of a one month old and the 3.5 years doing this project have definitely been intense. But throughout it all, I read a chapter each day and honestly, I am so proud I did.
Not only did I read a chapter a day, but I also took notes with a summary, my thoughts and questions. It ended up being 464 pages long and it is the base for this e-book, which is 30 pages long.
These are my opinions alone and you are welcome and encouraged to disagree with me. I have no doubt that many commentators do. I hope that my insights about characters, text, the Jewish people, learning and Torah, and so much more help you think, question, and immerse more into the text. You might be surprised to read some of these insights but I hope it helps you explore further and learn more.
